Javier is Professor of Litigation at the University of Zaragaza.
His doctoral thesis “The Company’s foreclosure” gave rise to a fresh research stream concerning the Executive and Credit protection; Monitory Procedure and Insolvency Proceedings.
He is the Author of several works and papers, among which must be highlighted three monographs: “Monitory Proceeding”, “Cassation interest” and “The Insolvency Proceeding”.
During his research stage at Houston University, he started an investigation line concerning the Collective Protection and Class Actions that led to the completion of the monograph “The class actions system in the USA”.
He advised the Ministry of Justice on the transposal of Directive 2004/48/CE and on the development of the further Regulation (CE) 805/2004.
He is currently Vice Dean at Zaragoza’s University Law Faculty and has actively participated in the drafting of the Memory of the Master Degree in Law at the same University.
